POSTCARD FROM MAUD TO ROLLAND
'WITH LOVE FROM YOUR LITTLE NURSE'
15 JULY 2020

Post Card from Mary Maude (Campbell) Collinson (1874-1944) living in Altoona, Pennsylvania to 'Rolland' William Rowland Thomas (1909-1994), in Glyneath, Glamorgan, Wales; this was probably sent after the death of Elizabeth Ann (Rowlands) Thomas in Glyneath in 1910.
We had thought that 'Maud' was a young girl, rather than a Mum with daughters born in 1901 and 1904: Naomi Marie Collison (1901-1985) and Florence Madeline Collinson (1904-1906) who had sadly died of measles on the 31st January 1906.
Maud was a truly, caring and loving person who sent this very appropriate card for a little boy.
